Joseph Labatt is a graduate student in drama therapy, currently writing his thesis on the application of stage combat to drama therapy theory. He has certified and renewed in all eight weapons repeatedly, taught and fight choreographed with a wide range of organizations and student demographics, including the recent NYU therapeutic theater production of Fiddler on the Roof.

Joseph looks forward to graduating and beginning his clinical work as a mental health professional, while still looking for opportunities to cross-pollinate the stage combat and mental health communities that he is so deeply invested in improving wherever possible.
