DAN O'DRISCOLL has choreographed the violence in 250 theatrical/film productions. In addition, he assisted J. David Brimmer on another 97 productions both on Broadway and Off-Broadway which have garnered 67 Lucille Lortel nominations, 49 Drama Desk nominations, 36 Outer Critics Circle nominations, 28 Drama League nominations, 30 Tony Award nominations, 21 OBIE award nominations, 11 Off-Broadway Alliance nominations, 3 New York Drama Critics' Circle nominations and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.  See https://www.swordandtherose.com for a full list of credits. As a Stage Combat Instructor - Dan has taught at New York University - Tisch School of the Arts (2001-2019, 2026), Montclair State University (2001-2016), SUNY - New Paltz (2009), SUNY - Nassau Community College (2006-2008, 2013-2016), the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts (Summer, 2015) and Marymount Manhattan College (2016 - 2024). As an Intimacy Director, Dan has worked on 25 theatrical productions. 

Dan is a Certified Teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors since 2004, awarded Fight Director status in 2018 and is a full member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. (last update: 3/21/26)
